It's been more than a year since I started working on [Syntari.dev](https://syntari.dev/?ref=nguyenphan.org). As a good, ... Okay forget it. I planned on writing something "healthy" and "AI-powered"-something friendly. But no, I have to spit the truth.

Since it's inevitable for a civilization to get to the point where they create artificial intelligence, well here you go. Welcome to the inevitable turning point. You can't turn back now. If you don't get along with it well, you will be falling behind. You can't really argue with it with a logical mind. So what do you expect the game industry to evolve?

Remember the 2000s when there's websites with arcades without ads and bullshits? Then the world evolved along with Steam and Consoles like PS and XBOX, Nintendo and such. People do love playing games in various ways. So the point is people do enjoy making games too. It's very often do you hear people say "oh if it were me I'd make the game this way", "Oh I have an idea for a game", "Oh I want this game to be some of this and some of that game together, that'd be perfect". See how that sounds? They literally just want their ideas turned into real games easily, not going through a hassle of 4 years in Computer Science so you can make games? Nah not even close, LOL. You forgot the real life. You need experience and you need time to work on your game, because most of the time it's debugging, technical stuffs. You can design a game as a hobby, but you can't make a game as a hobby.

So how do we solve it today? Let AI help you build games together. You shouldn't have to spend 6 months learning Unreal Engine just to place 1 simple cube. Oh I feel like this is going to take a long time.

> Okay if you don't want to read this part, skip to the end paragraph.

People usually forget everything about making games. At a user point of view, they usually say things like "Just make your character jump when pressing space, how hard could it be?". Brothers and sisters, I'm telling you, **it takes everything to make a character jump**. You don't know how hard it is for a newbie or for an experienced developer to make a character jump. Given that you have a full design from a design. like for example: "Make a character jump about 1/4 of a character's height when holding space, immediately fall to the ground in 0.1s when the input is released, oh and people should be able to configure their jump button in multiple platforms" See how ridiculously easy it sounds? LOL,

1. Configurable action button.
2. Configurable jump height.
3. Configurable fall to the ground time.
4. Animation (usually given already).
5. If Gameplay Ability System from Unreal Engine is used? Then jumping is an ability too.
6. You think it's done? Nah you forgot about networking, Movement prediction over networking.
7. If a player die mid jumping what happens?

I'm drawing you a picture here. Don't think I'm overexaggerate here, it's only the *tip of the iceberg.* You are reading texts, you're not performing any actions yet, you are not reading any code or solving engine problems or environment related problems. If you've ever built anything physically IRL or software, you know that problems occur very often. That's why employer requires problem solving skills of every developers they hire LOL.

So how do you solve it? If you've been using AI since 2022, you know context dilution? which means if you ask it to do task #1 and then you ask what you should eat for dinner mid-way, its context will be diluted. Human is not so different. We do get distracted from what we're trying to do if there's too many problems occur and what does it reduce? SPEED!!! And if you want SPEED back? You need more labor. Do you see it now? And do you see that it is very solvable with AI Agents?

So, What is [Syntari.dev](https://syntari.dev/?ref=nguyenphan.org)? it's what allows you to focus on turning your ideas into real playable published games, leave troubleshooting, leg-work, engine-specific optimization, configurations, marketing, publishing for [Syntari.dev](https://syntari.dev/?ref=nguyenphan.org). It's such a great companion for you. And remember! [Syntari.dev](https://syntari.dev/?ref=nguyenphan.org) doesn't create games for you, it helps you build your games more efficient. Go try it out. You can leave comments to let me know what you think, I really appreciate the comments.
